- Workshop: Helps parents of children, adolescents and transitioning adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Neurodevelopmental delays by providing steps to implement in-home organizational and structural supports which result in successful self-management, self-reliance, self-confidence and ultimately steps toward independence.
- Workshop Goal: (1) Simplify life, with an emphasis on organization, structure and order. (2) Develop critical thinking and problem solving skills that can be sustained throughout a lifetime. (3) Promote self-reliance. (4) Motivate!
- Participants will learn the source of challenging behaviors and how practical, effective organizational systems, which include charts, schedules, social stories, along with other visual aids and strategies [including educational tools] support self-management and independence!

Each Participant will receive a starter packet including Workbook Binder & Social Story Book. Additionally; one hour Coaching with Instructor is included in the course fee.
Nellie brings over 15 years of experience in Behavior Intervention. She is a proud Mom raising four amazing children who range in age from 4 to 19! Each of her children has their own unique experience with ADHD [Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder], ASD [Autism Spectrum Disorder], BDD [Behavior Disruptive Disorder], Depression and Intellectual Disability. Nellie has received over 8,000 hours of direct in-home training in Behavior Intervention and Therapies, including PRT [Pivotal Response Therapy], ABA [Applied Behavior Analysis] and CPS [Collaborative Problem Solving], along with Social Skills Training. She brings life experience and expertise in developing Systems and writing Social Story Books for Children and Young Adults on the Autism Spectrum. Prior to her work in Behavior Intervention, Nellie served as Vice President Operations for a major charity in the non-profit sector.
